@itsginnydi I didn't even know you had a new video out, what the hell YouTube?! I'm supposed to get notifications about this stuff! ๐ฑ Brb, gonna go watch it.
@BurgundyBitch72@itsginnydi Tragically, that is the crux of never-seen-titty disease. It's chronic, and seeing titty only makes the symptoms worse. I wish him luck on getting his diagnosis.
@arythusa There was also an independent viewer portion where we'd watch a movie we haven't seen before then write our opinions on it, even if we didn't like it. Just always loved how she wanted us to get out of our comfort zone and form our own opinions over what makes a good movie. 2/2
@arythusa Now I'm just thinking about how my film professor gave us two to three options to vote from when we got to our weekly "we watch a movie together" part of the class. She gave us variety in our options and deliberately avoided the classics, assuming we've already seen them. 1/2
@MinovskyArticle When dyeing fabric, the pH of the dyebath is important. Plant fibers like cotton and linen prefer alkaline dyebaths, while animal fibers like silk and wool prefer acidic. That's why the instructions on rit bottles tell you to add salt or vinegar depending on what you're dyeing.
@itsginnydi The tldr version is that I got burnt out over one player being so exhausting to deal with. He was hosting all our games, not just mine, so kicking him was going to open up a new can of problems. The pandemic interrupted our games, so I just... let the campaign die.
@BitchyKnitter I was referencing Hamlet 2, a movie where a high school drama teacher decides to write a musical sequel to Hamlet in response to a midlife crisis. It's a dumb, childish, deliberately offensive movie, and is was a guilty pleasure of mine in college. 1/2
@Jdouce5Doucette @BitchyKnitter I was the only one with admin privileges on our FB group, so imagine how pissed they got at me when I just... tanked it. How else did they expect me, a queer FOUNDER of their group to react to their bs? They knew each others names, they can make their own group without me. 2/2
@Jdouce5Doucette @BitchyKnitter You just gave me flashbacks to the knitting group I helped start that was supposed to teach new people how to knit, but quickly got overrun by clique-y wine moms that drove all of our newbies out by saying some of the most racist, abelist, homophobic shit I've ever heard. 1/2
@RossySculpts The best test for what they mean by this is using your history knowledge to be a whimsical little shit of a DM. Broke: using history as an excuse to be racist/sexist in a fantasy world. Bespoke: using history as an excuse to have wine windows, multiple festivals, & turnspit dogs.
@feefal_ Now I'm just thinking of that joke- a guy goes to a therapist, therapist shows him inkblots. Guy's answers are sexual for every inkblot. Therapist tells him he's obsessed with sex. Guy angrily responds "Why am I the one obsessed?! You're the one showing me the dirty pictures!!"

@Rook_Stone @vivir900 Adding to this, when I was a teen he had a "strawberry tower" which was a round, 3 tiered raised bed and the walls were tin and the sprinkler ran through the middle. We got a lot of strawberries from that setup, pretty low maintenance, but I reckon it was because of the tin.
@Rook_Stone @vivir900 I remember my dad made a couple raised beds with corrugated steel and a wooden frame last year. Painted the steel for extra protection against rust, and designed it to be taken apart easily for storage. He's always doing gardening experiments. I'll ask him how it turned out.
@BitchyKnitter @TaterTots4Me Omg yes I want to find some chunky yarn and knit a big one. Shout out to that angry commenter saying the pattern was from Knitty, saved me the trouble of asking where I can find it, lol.
@downwithlcc Someone singing/playing music to calm a monster down. My favorite examples are from s1 of Kipo, and at the climax of The Book of Life. Both are such powerful moments that fit so well for the characters.
