Roosters Sam Walker allegedly has been spotted in Springwood Queensland with heavy calf straps. Good chance he’s healthy but potentially calf strain/tear. Grade 1 strain would take 1-3 weeks to heal while grade 2 would take 3-6 weeks.

Luke Garner and Liam Martin have successfully completed a full contact training session today. Scott Sorensen will move back the bench, which will see Lindsay Smith go back to reserve grade and, Zach Hosking moving to 18th man.

This will likely see Garner move back to the starting lineup, in place of Martins spot today. Also a possibility of Sorensen/Salmon to start.

Confirmation from Ivan Cleary that Martin has most likely re-injured his hamstring. Frustrating injury will be out for an indefinite amount of time.

Fortunate news for Hosking lovers… Luke Garner heard Nathan Cleary telling his father(Ivan Cleary) that he preferred playing with Hosking over Martin and Garner. This caused garner to become furious and punch a brick wall which caused a minor fracture in his hand…
