I remember that exactly a year ago. I found myself in a low and dark place. I took time to myself at this time of the year and i did not spend time with family because I wanted to be alone with myself and with God in prayer to listen.

I asked God and vowed to myself that, 2017 was going to be the last time and the last Christmas I would be in such a space, mentally emotionally, spiritually and otherwise. True to God's word this year has been nothing but a blessing.

A married friend once told me that YOU dont owe a boyfriend/girlfriend anything. If YOU feel its not working YOU have the right and FREEDOM to leave. I thought it was harsh but having grown, observed, matured and experienced relationships i have to agree with him.

Not everyone is going to believe in YOU. Not everyone is going to support YOU. I remember when i resigned from a well paying job at a biggest bank people would ask what i would do.I would tell them i am going to start my own business ,their facial expressions would say it all.

Dont listen to people and their negativity. It often is a reflection of what is happening inside of them. Get around people who support YOU and give YOU constructive feedback and criticism. Not the naysayers.
