Six years after his passing, I still feel the absence of my beloved Uncle John.
He devoted his life to opening doors that had been closed, defending the right to vote, and encouraging generations to confront injustice with courage. His leadership was grounded in sacrifice, service, faith, and a disciplined commitment to nonviolence.
Today, honor Congressman John Lewis by carrying forward the work he advanced. Make good trouble. Protect the right to vote. Help build a democracy that respects the dignity and voice of every person.

Grateful beyond words to be featured on the cover of Rolling Stone Africa this Juneteenth. A day that honors freedom, resilience, and the generations who paved the way makes this moment even more meaningful. This cover is bigger than me it's a reflection of the communities, dreams, and legacies that continue to move us forward. Happy Juneteenth❤️🖤💚
This father is in the hospital with his baby when CPS arrives and says they are taking custody. He questions them, but they have no answer why, other than his conversation with their supervisor “didn’t go well.” He mentions passing a drug test, so could this relate to something prior or the baby testing positive? Should CPS have all details to legally take custody? I think they need a court order and full details they should easily release to whoever asks.
Never underestimate the power of large groups of stupid people.
He was the worst POTUS in history.
Impeached twice.
Convicted felon.
Tried to stage a coup.
Sold state secrets.
But hey …at least he isn’t an intelligent Black woman.
