Reminder that you don’t have to be happy all the time. Don’t make yourself miserable by trying to “fix” being sad.
Sadness is a part of life. Embrace it, work through it and come out on the other side truly happy because you allowed yourself to feel. Stay strong friends!

My best friend is a type 1 diabetic, has been since she was a wee little tot. The pharmacist just denied her insulin because her insurance company (that she has been with for YEARS) randomly decided that she needed to prove to them that she’s diabetic.
Told student having crisis they could have a few more days to finish paper. They responded “I appreciate you being so understanding about everything,” as if my response was atypical & unexpected. Folks: Students are people. Sometimes they have crises. Its easy to be kind.
Shout out to my sister for giving me a play by play of CCM's production of Hunchback of Notre Dame since I had to miss it due to being extremely sick all weekend 😭😷
