I hate that Ciru Muriuki's grievieng process was affected by online strangers. I hate that people are so comfortable spewing absolute vitriol about a stranger that is baseless and very malicious. I hate that we have no empathy for other human beings who are going through things.
Been watching Ciru Muriuki talk about her grief process when Charlie died. She says she went from planning a wedding to organizing a cremation. The sad part is that during her grief people bullied her using her past and her politics causing to lose so much weight. Very sad story.
The ideological difference between INJECT Party of Kenya and other political parties forming coalitions is this: they seek to unite various tribes to defeat president William Ruto. We seek a different way of organizing politics that is not based on tribe but values. They seek to remove President William Ruto as a mark of change in Kenya. We seek to overhaul the system that makes people like William Ruto president.
GenZs, you need to decide.
Are you willing to be mobilized by your tribes or by your values and beliefs?
What is your mission? Is it just to remove William Ruto or to overhaul the system that makes people like him president?
Whatever is happening now, has happened before
1. In 2017 the people of Kiambu removed Kabogo and replaced him with Waititu. It did not work for them
2. In 2017 the people of Nairobi removed Kidero and replaced him with Sonko it did not work for them.
Does changing the president solve our problem?
“The thing I’ve learned over the years about advice is that no one can accurately predict the future, but we all think we can. So advice at its best is one persons limited perspective of the infinite possibilities before you.”
