If you bought an NFT in the same day, it's considered personal use.
This may not be the case if you made the purchase days later.
Events of today in crypto just go to show that genuine decentralisation and well-designed security make a far more valuable proposition than some big tps numbers coming from an exclusive and closed set of servers. If you can't run a full-node yourself then it's just another bank.

Most of the people paying anything over $5 were interacting with a smart contract (uniswap, defi etc.)
The more complicated the rules of the contract, the higher the fee is to execute.
