Today, sports persons are recognized for their physical fitness, mental strength, discipline, and leadership qualities. Participation in sports not only improves health but also contributes to wealth creation and personality development through professional opportunities. Therefore, students should be encouraged to actively participate in sports alongside their academic pursuits. The state government is also introducing various policies and programs to strengthen sports infrastructure and support young talent. Initiatives like Young India Schools are excellent examples of promoting balanced education with equal importance to sports and academics. Such efforts will help in building a healthy, confident, and progressive younger generation for the betterment of the Nation.
