BREAKING | Baaz has learned that an individual described as a white male carried out an attack at Nanaksar Gurdwara in Edmonton earlier this morning. The attack resulted in multiple stabbing injuries and the desecration of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.

Police remain at the scene, and an investigation is underway. The Gurdwara has been closed while police investigate.

The incident comes amid reports that multiple Gurdwaras across Alberta received threats of attack within the preceding 24 to 48 hours.

The World Sikh Organization of Canada has repeatedly raised concerns about what it describes as an alarming trend of anti-Sikh hate in Canada, fuelled and amplified by both white supremacist and Hindu nationalist ecosystems.
