You are not a real Domme if you have no regard for your submissive’s emotional, mental or physical well-being.

And I will stand firmly by that statement.

Dominance is not simply about giving orders, collecting tributes or exercising authority. It comes with responsibility, and that responsibility does not disappear the moment a session ends or a payment lands.

There is actual psychology and biology behind power exchange.

Research has shown that intense submissive experiences can affect the body’s stress and reward systems. And when that intensity subsides, some individuals experience what is commonly known as sub drop.

Feelings of emotional vulnerability, exhaustion, anxiety, sadness or even shame can follow an otherwise enjoyable experience.

Not everyone experiences this, and not everyone needs the same kind of support.

But this is precisely why aftercare matters.

And yes, that includes financial domination.

A submissive is not merely a wallet, a transaction or an instrument for your entertainment. There is a human being behind that screen, with emotions, responsibilities, financial limits and a life outside your dynamic.

Aftercare does not necessarily mean affection, cuddles or abandoning your dominant position.

Sometimes it is simply checking in. Making sure they are emotionally grounded, physically well and financially comfortable with what has taken place.

Understanding when to push and, more importantly, when NOT to push.

I have always believed that the ability to command someone is far less impressive than the ability to understand them.

Anyone can demand obedience.

But recognising vulnerability, respecting boundaries and knowing how to exercise authority without exploiting someone’s trust requires something far more valuable: emotional intelligence.

If you enjoy the power someone places in your hands, you should also understand the responsibility that comes with holding it.

Because real dominance is not measured by how much you can take from someone.

It is reflected in how safely they can surrender their control to you.

And that, to Me, is the difference between someone who simply calls herself a Domme and a woman who truly understands dominance.
