Danach kam Folge 6 "How to serve craft" mit @redhairmoe - wir wusste alle noch nicht was Corona bringt und haben uns über die Schwierigkeiten von Craft-Bier Lokalen und Frauen in der Szene unterhalten.

Happy #NationalBeerDay especially to any "girls" out there who enjoy a pint or two. However it's not always that easy to get served - read more about taking the fight for equality to the pub in our @CAMRA_Official newsletters: https://t.co/x0NXSD5Ux7
Unser @Kuchengnom hat sich die Mühe gemacht und ein kurzes Teaser-Video zur neuen Folge gebastelt. In den Shownotes findet ihr übrigens auch alle Quellen zum gesagten - auch zur Archäobotanik.

@dereulenspiegel I strongly agree that some communities, sadly often large ones, let's pick r/crytocurrency as an example, are highly toxic. Nevertheless, I try to stay positive; Either there will be something good coming out of this technology or it will be scrapped in the long run.
@dereulenspiegel I find this generalization a bit odd. This would be like condemning all people using databases to be evil data hoarders.
I would be interested in what caused your disbelief.
@dereulenspiegel That is like saying open source is essentially just a bunch of people hiding the flaws to make a product hit the market under a new marketing umbrella.
I say we agree to disagree on that matter.
@dereulenspiegel Yes. The problem is far from solved. But I rather see a strong will and innovation to give it a try, than to stagnate.
Centralized services will always be the ones performing the best. I was hinting at the more prevailing "Heineken"-centralization in the beer industry. ;)
@dereulenspiegel Let's turn transparency around and call it trust. How can you even trust a label for organic produce nowadays? Wouldn't a decentralized way of proof for that label to be trustworthy be nice.
@dereulenspiegel … with an alternative way to measure credibility. I understand that the underlying payment system is far from finalized if we even want that, but the concepts have true value.
@dereulenspiegel Databases exist since around 1970. Time is not the way we have to measure the usefulness of a technology. Smart contracts really shine in DeFi and to be more practical take the example of issuing loans to a hobby brewer wanting to open a microbrewery …
@dereulenspiegel When it comes to the term crypto I must pass. I wouldn't even fathom being knowledgeable in cryptography. Hence I can say we favor security – but there are many ways to achieve that. Decentralization at large would be a more interesting and far-reaching topic.
