At 34 my first marriage ended, left my job to change careers and go back to school, moves to a different city with no support network.
5 years later at 39 I’ve found family in friends, call London my home, working on my first high end TV job, and found love again. What an arc.

The thing about losing someone is that there are days where you forget and want to go see them or call them and can't. Those are days that it really hits home that life has changed
i really do miss catching flights and feelings though. that was really my steez for a while. can't believe we are so preoccupied with trying not to die, trying not to sink into suffering. we aren't even having fun anymore. i'm legitimately dumbfounded that this is real life .
To anyone who's been going through tough times lately:
One of the hardest things is always having to pick yourself back up. It is exhausting and draining, and sometimes, you just don't want to have to bother anymore. But finding that strength to keep going? It's one of the most beautiful gifts you can give yourself.
