I am not worried about Kenya in 2022. I am extremely worried for Kenya Post 2022 because a Ruto presidency post 2022 looks like it's inevitable and Ruto isn't someone you'd want to give a country to lead.
I was pleased to host Governor @HonKangata & Senator @OsotsiHon in Kisii ahead of the @LindaMwananchi events in Kisii and Nyamira tomorrow.
All leaders who believe in the liberation- #Ukombozi- of Kenya must come together to RESET the country to Constitutionalism, Rule of Law and Economic Opportunity for all.

I'm a product of boarding school but over the years, I've come to strongly oppose the boarding school system.
Just picture sending these kids off to boarding school and dumping them on the teachers. Don't forget, they are there for nine months out of the year. That means the school administration is stuck fixing the mess that was created at home instead of fully focusing on what they're actually paid to do.
We need to do better.
Uganda has dismissed the allegations made by impeached Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua that President William Ruto was involved in the closure of Nation Media Group Uganda outlets, NTV Uganda, and the Daily Monitor.
The Youth Affairs PS, Fikirini Jacobs, has broken his silence over the fatal shooting of youth organiser Cecil Ouma. He stated he is cooperating fully with police and has already recorded a statement regarding the tragic incident that occurred in Kariokor, Nairobi County.
Jacobs confirmed that seven individuals, including two of his bodyguards, have been summoned to aid in the ongoing investigation. He expressed deep condolences, asserting that no family should endure such a loss and that the youth's death was an unnecessary tragedy.
The High Court has declared key provisions of the Computer Misuse and Cybercrimes (Amendment) Act, 2025 unconstitutional, ruling that they violated constitutional rights to freedom of expression, media freedom and other fundamental freedoms.
Justice Patricia Mande struck down Section 6(1)(j)(a), which had given the National Computer and Cybercrimes Coordination Committee powers to order internet service providers to block websites and online applications without prior court approval. The court also invalidated Section 27(1)(b), finding the provision criminalising certain online communications to be vague, overly broad and unconstitutional.
The court ruled that some of the contested provisions violated constitutional protections, including freedom of expression, access to information and due process, while allowing other sections of the law to remain in force.
However, the court upheld the legislative process, finding that Parliament met the constitutional requirements on public participation and that Senate approval was not required for the amendments.
The judgment follows a petition by the Bloggers Association of Kenya (BAKE) challenging the legality of the amendments. The petitions therefore succeeded in part, marking a significant victory for digital rights and constitutional protections in Kenya.
My first office job in Ruiru was 15k but nilikua nimechangamka hadi wakaskia aibu kunilipa 15k endmonth.. nililipwa 20k plus 1k fare so 21k.. nikapiga another 2 months with 20k.. nikaandika barua asking for 40k.. wakaniongeza salo ikafika 30k.. nikapiga 30k for 8 months then I resigned.. nikakaa 2 months nikapata job ya 40k tao.. after 3 months probation nikawekewa house na transport allowance 10k each salo ikafika 60k.. nikapiga job another 7 months then nikafutwa job. From there I have survived and made a lot of money because of the skills I learned in that first job.. hapo I worked as a receptionist, stock controller, accountant, it guy, sales rep.. kila kitu.. now I easily make more than that 15k in a day but that's my story. Sijasema mtu akubali salo ndogo but 15k and an opportunity is better than staying idle.
The older you get as a man, the more you understand why fathers used to come home late and leave early some with no particular place they’d be going.
The more you understand why some fathers often never used to respond when mothers in those homes ranted.
The more you understand why fathers in homes grew thinner while the children thrived and the mothers remained steady.
You begin to read the silences that once confused you as a boy.
