@razorray420@LauraBabcock That’s quite a claim. Funny how there’s no evidence offered, just insults, outrage and a generous sprinkling of “TDS.” If your argument needs that much name-calling to survive, maybe the problem isn’t the liberals. Maybe it’s the argument.
Canada and Europe are each strong. Europe and Canada are stronger together.

@SammyHudes So the only place real fans who can’t afford to go to games won’t have access to the games unless they pay an additional fee on top of their normal bill? Come on @Rogers do better.
I was given my name by the Iroquois Nation many hundreds of years ago. By 1660 my name was printed on maps by the Europeans as they accepted the Native name which means Beautiful waters.
In 1867 the Canadian government decided to use my name for their providence.
The name Lake Ontario comes from the Wendat word Ontari’io, which, appropriately, means “the lake is beautiful, the lake is big”.
The name is more than 400 years old, predating both the Confederation of Canada and the Declaration of Independence of the United States of America.
We know that America is changing. Their trading relationships, their foreign policies, their national monuments, their hydronyms.
Canadians also know that naming reality means calling it Lake Ontario – then, now and always.
@emsneeze@RobynUrback You’re a fool. If you don’t understand what’s truly going on here, then you shouldn’t be living in this country. Feel free to move.
For over a year, Canada has worked intensively and in good faith with the United States to negotiate a new comprehensive trade deal. We have been pragmatic, patient, and persistent. Our goal has always been to get the best deal for Canadians, never a deal at any price or on any time frame.
Late last evening I instructed our negotiators to return to Ottawa. We cannot accept what the U.S. has offered, and we will not give what they have asked.
Canada will match the U.S.’ new tariffs dollar for dollar in order to protect Canadian workers, farmers, families, and businesses. We take this step confident that it is in the best interests of Canada.
In the coming days, we will release the details of these new tariff measures, which will come into force the Tuesday after Labour Day.
@patmaroon We’re fine. Lots of Toronto fans are happy for him. Now, maybe the NHL could just move on and stop thinking about Toronto. Everyone else is making such a big deal about it. Maybe it’s time for you all to move on and stop thinking and obsessing about Toronto so much.
@TLNdc Enough with this crap. Vegas is looking for a distraction from Carter Heart and employing someone who was involved in sexually assault a young women. Let’s talk about that.
@Leafslatest Clearly that’s what Vegas is looking for a distraction from Carter Heart and employing someone who was involved in sexually assault a young women. Let’s talk about that.
@reporterchris Let’s stop talking about this and talk about Carter Hart. Clearly that’s what Vegas is looking for a distraction from employing someone who was involved in sexually assault a young women. Let’s talk about that.
@Steve_Dangle It’s inevitable. It will likely happen if Mathew’s leaves as well. The faster we come to terms with it the better we will all be. I wish Marner the best I hope he wins cause this town turned on him and that is always a motivating factor.
