@caitlinmoran If you loved The Hills etc, have you seen “Bluebeard” at the Battersea Arts Centre? Another variation of the powerful sisters trope as Emma Rice’s Wise Children company give a funny, gruesome and horribly relevant retelling of the Bluebeard fairy story. Can’t recommend enough!

@caitlinmoran So true. I’ve had to train myself not to write as the final sentence “Hope this makes sense!” It’s inviting the reader to think that maybe it doesn’t, and thus offers a get out clause.

@RNinScotland @RoyalNavy Such sad news. Cdr Bob lived and breathed Royal Navy - it was such fun to see him in action on the QE having worked with him at FOST MPV. We met again at Cale in Aug and he was as warm and lovely as ever. So sorry we won’t get to go for that wet. Huge condolences to his family.
