Final quick #Perthshirehour plug for my own books (hope that's OK). I write fantasy stories for kids aged 6 and up, as well as a dark fantasy set in Crieff for older readers. Paperbacks from @FunJunctiontoys in Crieff and Perth, Kindle editions here: https://t.co/8d9ANYB9HJ

Not true:

“EVERY illustrator is going digital. I guess I have to now.”

True:

Some illustrators are “going digital”. Some aren’t. Some are using both digital AND traditional tools.

Explore digital tools because you want to, not because you feel like you have to. 👍

One for the 90’s Trainspotting generation… The one and only Begbie. My favourite character from my favourite film.
This is a hand drawn illustration, digitally applied onto cards & prints. (Available in my Etsy shop).

@ZabAspire @books_north @KirstinAuthor We think our book will appeal to so many people for exactly the same reasons you give.

“My Family is So Scottish” is a fun picture book all about a Scottish family. The reader is introduced to the protagonists ‘braw & bonnie’ family, encapsulated with a backdrop of Scottish events and landscapes.
