With entering the portal in June and the new 5 for 5 rule in effect, I am eligible to play as a true transfer in 2026-27. I am a C/1B, and this year at Oregon State I had a .396 OBP with 28 walks and 10 HBP, a .459 SLG with 6 doubles and a team leading 9 home runs, and .856 OPS.
Thank you to Kennesaw State University and the coaching staff for the opportunity to play Division 1 baseball over the past years, with that being said I will be entering my name into the transfer portal June 2 with two years of eligibility left. Excited for the next opportunity!
.@KSUOwlsBaseball has an undisputed ace in @JboOsbolt, who posted a 2.28 ERA in 23.2 innings across five @OfficialCCBL starts this summer.
The junior righthander uses a fastball up to 96 mph as part of a five-pitch mix.

Braden Osbolt (@KSUOwlsBaseball) rolls through the first w/ 2 punch outs. Up to 96 on the final pitch of the frame and worked 93-95. Showing both CT & SL in mid-80s. ‘25 elig. @PG_Draft
Opposing Kentucky for @KSUOwlsBaseball is Top 100 @d1baseball prospect for the 2025 MLB Draft, Braden Osbolt.
Reaching back for 94-95 with a runner at 3rd, Osbolt has mostly pitched at 91-93 with his sinker and pushes hitters off the plate with a spot-on 4-seamer. Super competitive with good feel, also mixing an effective slider and occasional mid-80s change.
Legit Friday night ace for the Owls.
‘24 C Chase Fralick (@ChiefsMcIntosh) continues to trend ⬆️ as one of the top LH bats in the ‘24 class. Has a real feel for the barrel w/ + power potential.
