I finally did it, so blessed to be honored as first team all-state goalkeeper. Just a kid from Capital high school that loved the blue and grey. Thanks to my great team to help me get here and congrats to Chase Hudson as well. Not another school I’d do it for. I did it papaw!!!!

Matt Turner didn't start playing soccer until high school.

He walked on at Fairfield University, was on ESPN as the #1 Not Top 10 Play in 2013 & went undrafted in Major League Soccer.

But now he's at the World Cup & hasn't conceded a non-penalty goal in 3 matches.

I always hear coaches telling their kickers to “leave when the ball is snapped”..

Y’all do realize that your kicker will get to the spot BEFORE the ball will right? Do you know how hard it is to kick a 1 step or a No-step FG because you had to come to a stop?
