Hey #Physed community, have you ever had to do some funding for your program? what did you get for your students what was the process like? @pe4everykid have you had to do some yourself? #pegeek#Physed
Great teacher hack to keep your students engaged in your zoom meetings. You can use polling for check for understandings or even exit slips and more! #PEInZoom#TeacherHack

Thank you #Pecommunity the past 14 days has been a learning experience. I never knew how well you can connect, learn, and grow through social media. As a future educator, I will use this website as another tool to help improve my program. #pe4all
@MrMinerPE Twitter has given me more tools that I can use as a teacher. I learned more activities, new ideas of what I can do with technology, and more. I learned a lot from this website and I will continue to use this to expand my program to improve my students' learning!
@shannonhurleyPE What I found useful about twitter is the number of resources that you can use. During the times with COVID, the community has been very helpful with subjects like activity ideas or technology help. The community is willing to share and there is always something new to learn!
Hey #PE teachers, since joining twitter how has it impacted your learning and teaching? Did you find the resources helpful for your program? if so will you continue to use them? #PhysEd#pegeeks
For those who are still teaching virtually. @PHEAmerica provides us with a great resource by giving us strategies on how to improve our online classroom environment. These tips are great for creating student, peer, and teacher engagement!

Here are 3 free apps with tutorials on how to assess your students. These apps can be downloaded on their school Ipads, Chromebooks, or even their personal phone. Thanks to #Pegeeks you can assess without the worries of sharing pens or making paper copies!

@helenabaert This is great since we just learned how to create a virtual classroom. This provides us more ideas on how to design our classrooms for different units we teach for our distanced learners! #physed
Fitness Testing ✅ This leads into our fitness unit (intro lesson) each subsequent day will focus on a different fitness component both health and skill related. Big thanks to @CapnPetesPE for the station cards and @LynnHefele for the brain bite video imbeded into slide. #PhysEd
This is excellent to use while teaching remotely because at least one challenge targets 1 of the 4 learning domains. I also believe that this is great because it offers a lot of challenge by choices where students can improve their learning. #Physed @helenabaert
@helenabaert This warmup is awesome for teaching virtual PE. What makes this warmup great is that all of the equipment that students need is available at their house. All they need is a coin and some space!
"Flippin for Fitness". Whether using a real coin, paper plate, or a frisbee, this exercise or instant warm-up activity may help your #physed Ss from a distance or in-person.
Be safe, and have fun!

@MrRoosPE Hi Tanner, I find that under armor ones are the most effective. I work out in them and they are the closest ones where I can actually breathe in. I am substitute teaching and if I teach PE I will use that mask because I will be more active. #espechat
