In October 2023, Hamas offered to release all civilian hostages if Israel promised not to invade Gaza. Netanyahu rejected it. Some of us noted this at the time; establishment media did not, being too busy spreading pro-genocide atrocity propaganda about Hamas raping women and beheading babies.

The only open question is whether Hamas asked for anything at all. Qatari PM Mohammed al-Thani says Hamas agreed to free the hostages without conditions. Mossad chief David Barnea insists Hamas "set unacceptable conditions, such as halting the IDF's incursion into Gaza and new rights for worshippers on the Temple Mount."

Correct: because the natives had dared to resist their occupiers, it was unacceptable to stop Israel from destroying Gaza, or from denying Palestinians access to one of Islam's holiest sites.

A senior Israeli military official now tells Haaretz that when the Hamas offer reached the military, it was ignored: "To be honest, the issue of the hostages was not seriously on the agenda at this stage, and no one at the military or political level was open to discussing the proposal."

Antony Blinken was told of the Hamas offer directly, and rejected it too. "Israel is still under attack, and there's no one to talk to," he told the Qatari PM. This is the same Blinken who would soon claim that if Hamas freed the hostages, "this could end tomorrow." That was ghoulish on its own terms, endorsing mass murder as the means to an "end." It also wasn't honest, which for Blinken was the default.

Former CIA chief William Burns now says: "The basic problem was that Hamas was looking for a 'permanent end to the conflict,' as they called it." Yes. And the Biden team pretended Hamas was the obstacle, to help Israel put a permanent end to Gaza as a society and to Palestinians as a people seeking self-determination.

One day the Russian conflict with Ukraine will end.
One doesn’t have to ponder the fate of the Ukrainians who sided with the Banderists.
De-Nazification will be absolute, and their collective fate determined by Russian justice.
But what to do about those in Europe and the US who sided with evil?
Are we to allow them once again to cry “we were deceived by bad intelligence”, as they did with Iraq in 2003?
At some point those who consistently side with those who promote war, death and destruction over peace, life and prosperity must be publicly shunned, marked with a symbolic Scarlet Letter that informs the world that their opinions are tainted by hatred.
There can neither be redemption nor rehabilitation for such sick minds.
Just the prison of isolation and insignificance, which will eventually lead to their erasure from relevance.

I have no doubt this screed released by Laura Loomer is retaliation for my lawsuit against the DHS for its illegal seizure of my phones following my return from a reporting trip to Iran. Our lawsuit succinctly details Loomer’s role in lobbying for the unconstitutional seizure, and her claims of credit for it. Now she’s seeking cover in the Zeppelin-sized shadow of Randy Fine.

A federal judge has clearly stated that my Fourth Amendment rights were violated through the seizure of my phones. She framed the DHS action as an attack on my First Amendment rights as well, situating it within the Trump administration’s wider assault on press freedom.

Loomer and a trio of Israel First backbenchers have responded by escalating their attack on my First Amendment rights. It’s a desperate bid to silence me and The Grayzone - not for breaking any laws, but for journalism which exposes wanton corruption and war crimes.

They are particularly incensed by my reporting on the crimes of a certain foreign apartheid state whose lobbying proxies guide their careers. Indeed, their letter is packed with hysterical complaints about my journalism, demanding that I be “investigated” for producing a documentary on Iran’s Jewish community and for clinically exposing official Israeli deceptions about October 7 designed to generate public support for genocide in Gaza.

The letter also contains blatantly false, libelous statements. For instance, its authors claim I was “cultivated by an agent of influence by an FTO and current military adversary.” This is textbook defamation, and I don’t think it’s protected by congressional immunity.

Finally, it’s impossible to ignore the irony of Randy Fine falsely accusing an American journalist of unspecified crimes just days after Fine was filmed rummaging through a private citizen’s mailbox while he was campaigning for reelection.

Breaking into a mailbox is a federal crime. Journalism is not.

As punishment for my factual journalism, I was subjected to political harassment by the Trump administration upon my return from Iran.

I've just visited the largest funeral in history, where millions mourned Sayyed Ali Khamenei, the Iranian leader who was assassinated by the US-Israeli coalition along with members of his family

It is practically impossible to understand what this scene is like, or what it means, unless you're here. I've met people from around the world who've come to pay respects, including many from across the West. The crowds pouring in are endless, and grow larger and more intense into the night.

From Tehran's Mosala, there are indignant calls for vengeance, displays of sorrow and defiance, protest, songs and marathons of poetry. These days of mourning will amount to one of the most resonant moments in the history of anti-imperialist movements.

Everyone I've spoken to believes war will return to Iran before long, and none trust the MOU with the US. But they are confident their country can deter another assault. They see their own citizens' mobilization as an integral component of Iran's survival.

If the assassination of Khamenei was designed to spur regime change, his funeral demonstrates how badly it has backfired. And the crime may blow back in ways its historically illiterate authors could have never imagined.

What we're witnessing in the Mosala consolidates the Islamic Republic and its revolutionary society as a political reality that can not be erased through regime change war or sanctions. This is a turning point in the region that will echo for a generation.

This is properly insane: quite literally the worst example of censorship I've ever heard of anywhere.

I checked the actual ruling (which you can see here: https://t.co/dBKFWZ2ZWm) and, to be clear, it isn't just censorship in the conventional sense - blocking access to a website or removing content from platforms - this is the criminalization of information relayed by private citizens, with prison sentences attached.

And the most insane aspect if that it does NOT matter if the information relayed is accurate or not. It just matters that it originates from RT or other media outlets banned in the EU.

In other words, truth isn't a defense anymore in the EU, it literally doesn't matter. It's purely based on the identity of the speaker.

The ruling is actually explicit about this: the regulation, quoted by the Court says that the prohibition applies to "any content," and they draw no distinction based on what the content actually says. If it originates from banned outlets, it's banned.

It is, quite simply, a complete unraveling of the entire post-Enlightenment legal and philosophical project where entire generations of Europeans fought to move from "who says it" to "is it true" as the operative question.

Think about the absurdity of it: if RT publishes a video saying the sky is blue and you share it on a publicly accessible website in the EU, you'd fall within the scope of this ruling, making you liable to criminal prosecution.

Completely and utterly absurd. But that's the EU today for you 🤷

Crazy that this is getting barely any coverage. This year’s European Press Prize was just awarded to an investigative report by the Dutch newspaper De Volkskrant. It is entitled “What the Wounds Tell” and in it the journalists Maud Effting and Willem Feenstra document the cases of 114 children in Gaza under the age of 15 who were struck by a single bullet to the head or chest. Almost all of them died or were left severely disabled. They chose to document only the cases of boys and girls under the age of 15 (though often much younger: aged 3, 4 or 7) because these are children who can be immediately identified as such. “A single bullet in these parts of the body is a clear indication that these children were deliberately targeted“, the two journalists write.

The Gush Etzion Regional Council in the occupied West Bank has issued an unprecedented public admission acknowledging severe, multi-participant ritualistic sexual abuse within the settler community, which involved the gang-rape of children. The official statement marks a dramatic reversal for the settlement’s leadership, which had spent years systematically denying and dismissing allegations of sadistic abuse.

The official acknowledgment follows a damning investigative report by journalist Roni Singer on Israel's Kan 11 channel, which aired identical testimonies from five independent victims detailing organized, ritualistic assaults. This is the proven fraudster behind the new "Civil Commission" report on Oct 7 sexual violence which the entire US mainstream media is reporting without any critical detachment.

During a Harvard presentation, Cochav Elkayam-Levy falsely presented an old photo of female Kurdish fighters killed in combat as images of Israeli women at the Nova music fest.

When I exposed her, she simply blocked me and moved on without acknowledging her error. Then she proceeded to spin out more lies, such as that fetuses were cut from pregnant mothers by Hamas fighters.

Israeli media has since exposed Elkayam-Levy as a grifter who deceived donors, lied about Hamas atrocities, and set up a fake "Civil Commission" which served as a corrupt fundraising mechanism for herself.

Her new report is contradicted at numerous points by previous ones by the "Dinah Project" – another Israeli rape hoax PR org – as well as by the UN's Pramila Patten "fact-finding mission," and others which the Israeli gov't itself has promoted.

In spite of her long and growing record of lying and corruption, the NYT, CNN, ABC and Washington Post are still taking Elkayam-Levy at her word.

Reflections on a Day

I have been participating in Russia's Victory Day celebration for four years now. This one hit differently.

I’ve been directly involved with celebrating Victory Day for the past four years. In 2023 I had the honor and privilege of being in the audience for the live full dress rehearsal of the Victory Day parade in Moscow on May 7, and to see first hand how the citizens of Russia throughout the Russian Federation approached this most sacred day and celebrated their most venerated history—the victory over Nazi Germany.

This year the aura was darker. While the Ambassador held out the olive branch of peace to the United States, noting a new attitude in Washington DC regarding Russia that could lead to positive outcomes if adequately followed through, Ambassador Darchiev also made a direct link between Ukraine and Nazi Germany, emphasizing the notion of “unconditional surrender” when it came to settling the fate of Ukraine.
