There's a GenZ with mad video editing skills called Mike Wainaina, who used to be my colleague in Parliament. Check out what he's done with the images from the National Assembly today.
Baba's children have come through since the news came out, and you love to see it.
Today, we have witnessed one of the lowest moments of our post-independence, Kenya. It is uncivilized to sink our nation into an international shame by a clueless regime that has no value and dignity for human life.
Young people and patriotic Kenyans expressing themselves on the death of an innocent Albert Ojwang have been beaten up, their property destroyed, and lives lost in the peaceful protests.
Kenyans enjoying their constitutional right to Assembly and Expression are invaded by the police and state sponsored goons under the full glare of the camera, and the whole world stages our nation as a pariah state Mr. President.
What is the logic behind shooting an innocent and harmless hawker selling masks at a close at a close range? What police training is this? This is as if the brutal murder of Albert Ojwang in police custody isn't enough.
I had clearly warned of a plan by the President and the Governor of Nairobi County and other state machinery of their plans to unleash police brutality and thugs in police escort to kill our young people today. This has come to pass.
What is this obsession with the regime with the blood of young people? Why do you continue to paint our country with innocent blood?
Whom of those criminals who meted violence on Kenyans today have been arrested?
How much more blood, Mr. President, do you need to leave the GenZs alone? What apology of the GenZs and Albert Ojwang's father were you asking for?
Stop the brutality and violence. It is doing more harm than good to our country.
Listen to the Kenyan people.
I continue to remind you what God told Cain after he killed his brother Abel, "Your brother’s blood cries out to me from the soil."
Situation is very bad in kenya. Some people are selling ancestral lands to go and work double shifts abroad so that they can get money to buy land again back in home, others are fueling cars so that they can go to work to get money to fuel the car, others are hiring nannies but they have to work extra hard so that they can afford to pay the nannies, wengine tulihamia nairobi ndio tukuwe karibu na job lakini pesa yote inaenda kwa rent.
This is a very unsustainable way of living. Itafika miaka 60 hatuna kitu. All the years we have toiled there will be nothing to show. Those elected to atleast make the rope less tighter for us are doing the opposite. Kuna watu washaa secure life yao na watoto wao at the expense of ours. What was supposed to be distributed in small portions to us,has been shared among few greedy people. Na vijanaa sisi ndio biggest victims of these Crimes.
We must demand justice. Otherwise you can not out earn these criminals. Your hard work na kujituma means nothing if these people control the resources. We must act or be acted on. In the coming hours we have to discuss the objectives, and guiding principles of our youth for kenya movement. And everyone will have a template of it in his phone to remind him what we are doing and why, sahii hakuna masaa ya drama.
This video needs more than a million likes. Julius Kamau has stood and fought for kenyans even not kenya but Africa as a continent. Long live Julius and let's appreciate him
