One of our other reading displays. We’re adding book titles to the “spines” whenever we read a new text, whether that be in guided reading, English, foundation subjects or class novel time. @OneEducation and @lauralodge208 ‘s reading gems are never far away!
One of my pupil’s superb first person narrative about @PetitWTC ‘s walk between the Twin Towers, inspired by The Man Who Walked Between The Towers @MacmillanUSA
Our (work in progress) non-fiction display inspired by @lauralodge208 ‘s @OneEducation workshop. Children are going to keep adding their favourite facts to the display as they read more of these brilliant texts. ‘You Smell’ is proving to be very popular! @LaurenceKingPub
Some of the fabulous work completed in 6B based on Armin Greder’s fantastic book ‘The Island.’ @AllenAndUnwinUK@AllenAndUnwin I can’t wait to read their persuasive letters to politicians asking them to be more mindful of refugees’ needs.
@_Reading_Rocks_ My class voted for Once by Morris Gleitzman after loving covering the first chapter in guided reading. I can’t wait! We’ll also be using The Island by Armin Greder within our English unit of work.
