Trade and stake Bittensor dTAO with built-in execution protection.

Here’s why it matters:
• MEV bots are actively watching subnet alpha stake/unstake flows
• If they can anticipate your move, they can front-run your transaction
• This leaves you with with worse execution, higher slippage, and worse effective price

Enter MEV 🛡️ Shield:
• With MEV Shield enabled, your staking operation is encrypted
• This reduces the chance of being front-run by bots
• You can turn this on directly when trading dTAO in Talisman

But here's a catch most people miss:
Even with MEV Shield enabled, if you only have one alpha position staked in an account, a shielded transaction can still be a strong signal that you’re about to unstake, and bots may sell ahead of you anyway.

That’s why Talisman also enforces a fallback layer of protection:
• Every time you stake or unstake alpha in Talisman, the wallet has a max slippage cap
• This way you’re protected from the worst-case outcomes if the market moves against you

💡 Best practice:
• Enable MEV Shield whenever possible
• Keep slippage tight for meaningful size
• Split large stakes/unstakes into smaller chunks
• Avoid keeping only one subnet position in an account
