@MarkMaddenX Shock jock stuff to me is more like pushing a fake narrative about a racial slur for publicity. If the offense is genuine, take it to HR. Not Charlie Batch on X.
@colin_dunlap I went to trade school and still continued to work my way to masters while working in the industry. Stigmas keep you broke and needing help.
@united the situation your airline has at your hub at @fly2ohare is abysmal. And your online service is non existent. Stranding passengers due to weather is one thing. But not offering hotel and meal services is garbage.
@bodhi_utah@Steigerworld2 Again, competitiveness is the crux of the argument. It’s also subjective to the participant. The fact you would think to play a sport with a beer in your hand proves my point.
Individuals are competitive. Pickleball can be depending on the individual. However, can you explain how a sport that does not require lower body movement is comparable to one that does? It’s popular because 70 year olds can play. That makes 30 and younger crowd drool. Trust me, I raised some.
I am sure she would have the same take and not “fire the host” if the host told her to kill herself. The problem with too many of these “bad ass women I local government” is they aren’t able to be challenged because they aren’t intellectual enough to have a debate so they turn to emotional and nonsensical responses aimed at people they don’t like asking questions as opposed to discussing whatever the topic in question is in a thoughtful, intellectual way…
@kurri_jari In 1994, I felt like this was the only highlight reel goal they showed. Then again, not many teams were scoring then due to the Lemaire doctrines. Rule one, dump the puck. Rule two, wait
I do get that nothing indicates he was abusive. Which is why I stated any addict. But to say he had 1 bad day is as declarative and enabling as saying he was an angry drunk. Just 2 ends of the spectrum. Irregardless my point still stands. It is absolutely not wrong if it’s what SHE thought was best as an oppressed partner to an addict. To say it’s selfish is the definition of irony. Addiction is absolutely a disease. But if you lose sight of the fact it’s also irresponsible and selfish to expect anyone to partner your addiction is the definition of insanity. Which is why it truly is a plague.
Oh I get that. But let me ask you, what if the addict is abusive? Or what if the partner just did not love that person anymore due to the addicts behavior? Does that “vow” now insist this person lives in a self imposed prison? If you believe that they should, that’s your right. I believe in personal responsibility and accountability. The addict, while suffering in their own right, still needs to be held accountable. Empathy without accountability is enabling.
@GATerps02@TheDanKingerski Glad to hear it. But being in a better spot than they had been isn’t saying much. And beating out Youngstown? Not a huge flex but rumors none the less. Again, they owe the Pens a heck of a lot more than what they got from them.
@Purge99@YRGkNGb@nypost Absolutely! you’re right. You can think your way and I’ll think mine. That’s what the real world is. But o will always lean towards truth and established paths of success. None of that involves enabling.
Spoken like a major lack of life experience. And someone who thinks they’re good at hiding the truth (typical addict behavior). Now I’ll try this a little simpler for you: 12 years is how long he’d been clean supposedly. How many times had the wife been burned previous to that? And nowhere does it state that this was the first relapse. Now, try to put selfish needs aside and think about what it’s like realizing that the person you love is insistent on killings themselves. Eventually, that love goes away. We aren’t talking unconditional live from a parent. You chose to love someone just as easily as you chose not to love them. My suggestion Junior is grow up and toughen up. The real world won’t treat you like your momma. Especially when you CHOOSE to take intoxicants.
That’s you. And that’s awesome. What o do not understand is the definitive declarations by anyone saying whats best. That’s actually a great indictment on our culture anymore. I’ve been on both sides, addicted and later on supporting and addict. Only advice is that nothing is the right way. Only what you feel is right.
