Many issues cannot (at least easily, if at all) be appealed if not addressed in the initial trial.

@DogginTrump Amazing how wrong this is. He can't be pardoned of impeachment, that's it. He can't be "unimpeached" by a pardon, or be "unremoved" from office if the Senate convicted. He can still be pardoned of any and all federal crimes associated or unassociated with said impeachment.
