@jondutoit His voice sounded a bit weird here (maybe just the recording quality). But he fundamentally doesn't get (or chooses to ignore) is that Muslims and Christians do NOT worship the same God. What works to keep Saudi society in line doesn't translate to ours.
@HilaireNereus In all of that, there were maybe two legitimate uses of "like" as a simile. But maybe that's how Millennials talk (I shudder to think), saying this as one myself.
@billmaher They serve as museums/research centers for people to learn about the different people who have been president. (Although the ones constructed for currently living ones can certainly be monuments to their ego.)
@DanielLMcAdams Having some similar views on a few hot-button cultural issues does not erase the fact that Christian and Muslim moral/ethical foundations are completely incompatible.
@ScottRoberts The most charitable interpretation of his words is that he hates the institutional religious aspect. (The whole "spiritual but not religious" thing)
