Anyone know about generators? Organising supplies for friends in Napier. I can borrow an old Yamaha ET500 [50:1 gasoline to oil 220 volts/ 50 hz]. Will this run fridge, stove, laptops etc? Or am I best to buy a new one? I can source a Stihl EG5500CX #CycloneGabrielle 🙏

@martinkrafft @nashthomas So I think demand is there, both from the domestic travel market & from tourists. I used to use the sleeper train in the UK for travel between London & Scotland and it was usually full, plus they've just invested in a major refurbishment - so it's clearly profitable
