You cannot skip reading them just because you already have them. You WILL need to raid them to get the energy to evolve them into mega M2s, plus gain enough energy to be able to use them. I’m sure it will be sometime before they ever come out again. I myself am sitting on two 100% Mewtwo so theoretically I don’t need to read them anymore. HOWEVER I absolutely WILL have to raid them to gain the energy to mega evolve them.

My sentiments exactly! I feel like in celebration of Pokémon GO anniversary they TRIED to make this event epic, however in reality, everyone is just having epic anxiety over it myself included. It would really be nice for this year’s Go Fast to perhaps span over a couple of weeks rather than 2 days only. Maybe perhaps give mega Mewtwo an event all its own BEFORE GO FEST with only Mewtwo X and Mewtwo Y spawning at gyms. That way we could get that out of the way and be able to enjoy the rest of what Go Fest has to offer during the actual event. I mean, come on, this year marks a milestone with the anniversary so everything needs to be bigger, better, longer. It just doesn’t make sense to cram everything into two days.

Would be much better for Go Fest to be a full weeklong event to tie in with Pokémon’s anniversary, IN ADDITION to at least a week long “Road To Go Fest” event. ESPECIALLY WITH THE RELEASE OF MEGA MEWTWO & ALL OF THE PAST LEGENDARYS / MEGAS BEING RELEASED AGAIN Everything this year needs to be bigger, better, and longer. A week long Go Fest is absolutely needed here. With each day featuring a selected group of legendary / mega raids and having both mega Mewtwos appearing EACH day. I mean, I do appreciate the fact that all the legendary’s and Megas are going to be re-released, but it’s going to be an absolute cluster fu**! I am so full of anxiety over just trying to find mega Mewtwo raids, considering they are going to be quite deleted with all of the other legendarys spawning at the same time. And the poor souls in rural areas, I hate to think about how they’re feeling right now. Can you imagine living in an area with only one to maybe three gyms and having a slim chance of even having a mega Mewtwo spawn?
