I had been there for MAYBY 10 minutes at that point, yet someone was concerned enough to call the cops. Also no one came out to check on me or talk to me, just went right to the police.
We moved a year later.

When I lived in Aylmer (small town, <10k), I got a flat while driving through a subdivision. I called my partner (who was at home, like 2 minutes away) and then called CAA. I got off the phone with and then all of a sudden the cops show up, lights on and pull in behind me.

This pregnant woman was “curb walking” in an attempt to speed up the labor process or hopefully induce labor. She chose a small section between houses and was walking back and forth while curb walking. Then the police show up, turns out someone called the police for whatever reason. I don’t see any valid reason for calling them but you know how nosy people can be. I am still can’t wrap my head around this, for what reason would anyone call the cops on her for doing this?

They proceed to tell me that someone called in to report SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY! They did not show up to HELP, rather to investigate the young woman (I was 25) in her SMART CAR with a FLAT TIRE for being suspicious.
