@loopzoooop@lumiflavor Ok but this literally disproves your point. The mass murder of Romani and Sinti is a separate genocide (the Porajmos) against the one against Jews (the Holocaust).
@loopzoooop The Holocaust refers specifically to the Nazi genocide of Jews based in their belief Jews as a literal cosmic evil they viewed as worse than all other non-Aryans, and in fact as controlling them. The Roma and Sinti genocide has its own term -- the Porajmos.
@ardinarchist_ Not to mention that virtually no groundwork and organization even currently exists to put such a plan into action whatsoever. People of your persuasion are currently extremely marginal so as to be essentially politically irrelevant.
@ardinarchist_ That is in fact not a simple thing to achieve in the first place, much less both achieve and then build something better after doing it. You would not have as much control over here resulting destabilization, breakaway conflicts, and power vaccums as you'd like to believe.
@BlvckJxsus Literally every single person with any amount of high level political authority or influence in every polity throughout history has been a little evil. That's kind of how statecraft works. You have to make some considerations that are less than moral.
@Spegrogy Maybe, but I also just think they're apathetic. I have my own reasons for thinking Americans don't protest like France. France's protest culture is actually pretty unique https://t.co/iiw64fS1sT
@BanhmiBrieoche I think the reasons there isn't much appetite for that kind of stuff in the US is that
1. The American Revolution was a breakway from an over-the-ocean monarchy. The French Revolution was complete domestic upheaval that imbedded itself deep in the country's normalized culture.
