@Ash_Fem_@EPM106 This is one of those "cishet aces discourse" adjacent thing, where like, I get why you'd try and blame this one identity, but some of the most noxious and bigoted stuff is coming from people with a pass to say it. Like this is clearly a trans man who does not see the hypocrisy.
@stealth_riot Between "trantifa", "it was my birthday", and them even admitting to it for a one week period a while back, I think this is a straight up performance art piece or attempt to get dirt on a movement that's pretty clear about its goals.
@PunkyBaxter@EPM106 Could've used a butch or two. And no glasses? How? That said, I think it's still better to have this in addition to what already exists than only having depictions that emphasize how hairy we can be.
@DraculaeDyke I can't find any evidence other than a (maybe cis?) guy having beef with her. It's all super spurious claims, and the lady you're quoting even tried to claim she was cis.
@SJ_Brommo It's eerie and kinda funny getting here late and just seeing a callout document that basically says just "this woman followed someone and then said things about it. Do not do anything with this information. Bye." because talking about the actual drama made them look bad.
Whenever this kind of sentiment is elaborated on, it's something along the lines of "trans men aren't cis men", and while it's true that some people make this mistake, in general this is a post shift - to be a Man is not the same as to be the Hegemonic Class. Cis is prerequisite.
Problem here is that gender is a sociopolitical class. What sociopolitical status a trans person is depends on the trans person, but generally speaking, being a man (gender) involves potential membership in the sociopolitical class.
But Men by itself does not describe the top.
@goo_bers@ariadotwav@TokiBaeClouds hair splitting - the point being made is that the thing in the definition of "transsexual" is now talked about like it's a physical impossibility
