It’s the final month of our Breaking Bread: Non-Linear Time series, and we’re so excited to announce that tickets are on sale for the final workshop facilitated by playwright and screenwriter @hshurysmith

Throughout, participants will be invited to engage in writing exercises engaging with these Afrofuturist ideas, and hopefully giving creative inspiration for your own explorations beyond the workshop.

As a collective, we’re always inspired by Suchitra’s work - indeed, the idea that a “collective of entities” can self-organise “to give you a very different behaviour” is at the heart of our goal to find ways to collectively, as opposed to individually, create art.

The idea that “you cannot anticipate what type of emergent phenomena is going to occur until you look” also aligns with a decolonial storytelling framework - what structures can we use to tell our stories that honour their shape, as opposed to bending them entirely out of shape?
