it's worse than that. google cut down the forest WITHOUT A PERMIT because they know they're too big for small countries like ours to fight. they got off with a "oops haha sorry lol"
so funny that this is my first time seeing a finnish id.. most people have a drivers license, you can get a temporary one for voting for free, and an id costs MORE than a passport and you can’t travel outside europe
Swedish quotation marks are fun, ”like this” alternatively »like this», the closing and opening brackets are the same. ’like this’ also works I suppose, but it's fun that Finnish does the same thing as well.
@hwanghjs in europe (north at least) we don’t have credit scores and paying with credit usually costs you extra and at least you only benefit from it if there is a special promotion, so in day-to-day it is stupid to use one. you only really need it when renting a car
I'm fascinated by the rise of frictionmaxxing as a response to a frictionless life. We engineer away inconvenience, only to discover that some of the friction we removed was part of what made life feel alive in the first place
@Average_Jonas credit cards are more secure bc u can refund any fraudulent transactions infinitely easier, and you get rewards for using it. Just pay off the statement balance every month and its a no brainer, although people struggle to do that and spend more than they can
