I get imax is cool and all but the pedestal some directors put it on is insane. 99% of viewers will never see it that way. I miss when good movies were good for everyone, not framed for a screen 99% of people won't see.
@angelicxslayer I play both but console is almost always my preference. Some games PC is better but for single player, I just loving sitting on the couch with the big screen. I work on my PC all day, its not nice to play games there
@stormfall33 When does the story get good? I keep trying to play it and lose interest after around 8-10 hours... I love slow story games but this story hasn't hooked me yet
Whats interesting about this is console games usually go so far as to tell you how to walk, whereas PC games assume you know the basics including how to shoot, pickup items, etc. Just different audiences and exposure.
If you pick up a book and you don't know a word, you look it up. The issue is that the masses have this notion that games are just brainless entertainment you just turn off your critical thinking as soon as you pick up a controller or KB&M.
People are afraid of a challenge.
Having worked both, I wont be going back to Unity! Its not bad just for me Godot does everything I need in 3D and is way more intuitive, I love gdscript and the workflows and systems of Godot it really just makes so much more sense for me.
And it is absolutely capable for full 3D games.
@gembia2 As someone working in godot all of these things are entirely at the control of the dev. If you're seeing bad UI it's just poor work, you can make very good UI or bad UI, the tools don't force your fonts and button systems to be bad.
