WHY MOST PEOPLE MISUNDERSTAND HOW ICT ACTUALLY TRADES...
The way ICT trades is not what most people think he’s teaching. What many traders see is a mirage.
I’m not saying it’s fake. I’m not saying it’s hindsight. What I’m saying is that when you see ICT annotate key PD Arrays, those markings alone mean very little. Patterns by themselves mean almost nothing. That part cannot be emphasized enough.
ICT is not taking a trade simply because there’s an inverted imbalance on M15, a mitigation block, or a reclaimed M1 FVG - especially when price is already sitting at the 0.5 standard deviation of an overnight range. Context always comes first.
The reality is this:
ICT is using a framework to trade a narrative.
PD Arrays do not define that framework. They exist to support and confirm that the framework is being executed correctly.
Think of it this way: you have a narrative, and you have rules that govern how price can complete that narrative - similar to the laws of physics. PD Arrays are not the driver. They are simply the footholds along the climb. As long as the narrative and framework are aligned, those footholds work as intended.
Order of operations matters.
PD Arrays are just the path along the mountain, not the destination. Treating them as standalone patterns is how beginners are taught - not how professionals trade.
If you trade PD Arrays and patterns for their own sake, you are setting yourself up for failure. If you believe stacking endless confluences by drilling down through fractals creates an edge, you’re already lost.
Before anything else, if you don’t know where price should go and why, you’ve failed before the trade even begins.
Time based delivery first, then it’s going to refer to price when it’s TIME.
There’s absolutely one algorithm on every instrument that’s delivering price. 👁️

@thinks_bimal Backtest to burn the model in your subconscious mind and then taperead live price with no trading until you consistently identify the model real time. Every failed Trader avoids this step entirely or rushes through it to chase lottery trading.
@Hunt4Trades@I_Am_The_ICT In my opinion. You can’t successfully trade from a place of “lack” or “need” 9 times out of 10 you’ll mentally get in your own way, speaking from experience just take a step back calm your mind and reset. Walk in these markets not run, you’ll pick the speed up later. Small wins
@FelonyTrades Big respect for not blowing and being able to self reflect out of seeing red, still massive gains on the accounts it’ll come back with time brother much luck to you and can’t wait to see you bounce back! 💯
