@Plastician 3/3 I also know of other distributors and a few majors who are currently refusing to do it too (doesn’t mean they won’t in the future though)
@Plastician 1/2 I know of some independent artists doing it and they are getting a lot more streams, as well as a distributor who are largely putting everything they distribute through it. From the outside everyone looks at the total stream number and is impressed, artist can show promoters
@Plastician 2/2 they are popular etc, but from the inside your earning less per stream (although could argue more overall than if you didn’t do it in some cases) and if more and more people start to do it then on the end that rate becomes the norm and everyone ends up getting less per stream
If you’re in the business of building venues / event spaces in London. Please can you consider opening 10 150-450 cap venues instead of one 8000 cap venue?
Please. & Thanks.
Right now u are either playing to your cat or playing wembley out here
“Ride at Dawn” featuring @breakcodeoffici – this song harkens back to the origin of The Atlas Underground – collaborations that go outside of expected genres and push the electric guitar into the future. An alloy of metal riffs & bass drops for a dance floor/mosh pit mash up.
Here's the thing - if you want to do everything yourself in music these days you can. Just do it. If you're not getting opportunities, or the ones people are offering don't make sense to you, don't sit around complaining. Make it happen yourself.
