When a cloud upload starts, your voice can suddenly become delayed on a video call. Download speeds may still look fine. Pause the upload and see whether the call recovers. If it does, upload congestion is the likely culprit.
A Wi-Fi problem can turn out to be a cable. If an access point's wired uplink falls back to 100 Mbps, changing channels won't fix the bottleneck. Check the AP's negotiated link speed before tuning the radio (or better, have your AI agent do it).

If Zoom is choppy, try Meet or Teams. If only one app is bad, suspect that app or its settings. If all are bad, suspect something they share: your Mac, local network, or Internet connection.
Your Mac drops off home Wi-Fi but stays connected to your phone’s hotspot. Try both when the problem usually happens. If only home Wi-Fi fails, focus on the router or local network. If both fail, look at the Mac or something common to both connections.
