the match of the century, absence versus thin air

[Natsferatu @breakfast4dinrr]

@federalbaseball Fedde was not as good after the trade to the Cardinals*

* except when he faced the Nats and turned into Greg Maddux for a day

[Natsferatu @breakfast4dinrr]

@funnydanny they're on your head

[Natsferatu @breakfast4dinrr]

I didn't realize just how bad James Wood's defense was this year. The eye test said it wasn't good but I wasn't expecting him to be near the bottom of the league. Among qualified OFs (per Fangraphs):

54/54 in fielding%
48/54 in Outs Above Average and Fielding Run Value

@ajflax When I saw this my first thought was wow I’m glad we have Toboni

[Natsferatu @breakfast4dinrr]

This fucking Trump ad

[Natsferatu @breakfast4dinrr]

@ecl326 I have no doubt he can be a 20-20 guy next season while continuing to be a great base runner and solid defender

[Natsferatu @breakfast4dinrr]

@Stretchedwiener There’s a scene in The Batman where he enters a crime scene and there are a bunch of cops milling around and they all stop to look at him and it just made me laugh ‘cause it’s a very serious situation and he walks in wearing this ridiculous costume

[Natsferatu @breakfast4dinrr]

@TheRichmondJohn You’ll need a stroller at least this big to push him/her around in

[Natsferatu @breakfast4dinrr]

@spencernusbaum_ I wish he was a better hitter ‘cause he does everything else well

[Natsferatu @breakfast4dinrr]

@spencernusbaum_ "The Nationals, in the majors and minors, still walk too many batters..."

[Natsferatu @breakfast4dinrr]

@Tinyfugitives

[Natsferatu @breakfast4dinrr]

[Natsferatu @breakfast4dinrr]

@JPFinlayNBCS So it can be put on a sports card 💰

[Natsferatu @breakfast4dinrr]

@TheRichmondJohn Is this one of those hidden face puzzles cuz I think I found it

[Natsferatu @breakfast4dinrr]

@Stretchedwiener Well get ready because it’s definitely a real thing that will happen and not in any way an empty promise

[Natsferatu @breakfast4dinrr]

@jlinusjohn4008 @Nats_Chat I think his ideal role is long relief, not a late inning guy
