@mandalore1228 I feel bad for the boy, actually. As you say, his father is enabling unhealthy and - in the long run -unsustainable behavior. The young man is not learning how to have real relationships. His "friends" will just use him for his money, as his current girlfriend is doing. It's sad

He prefaced his argument saying he considers the proposal unconstitutional. He also knows some of his audience don't really care about that.

@usebigears @suepafan @Lesdoggg He's making a religious argument against the legislation because he is addressing someone who favors the bill for religious reasons. He's tailoring his argument to his audience.

Scripture doesn't explicitly say "be kind." It says feed the hungry etc.
We call that kindness
