Spent time on $KOD for the upcoming DAYBREAK P3 data of Zenkuda in wet AMD. It feels like a longshot they are going to hit on noninferiority with a durability that is competitive.
The previous P3 DAZZLE trial showed that 30% of pts needed more frequent maint dosing than q12w

With only $130m of cash at a $2B MC, feels like a big risk to the downside if Zenkuda durability isn't competitive to HD

Hitting the primary endpoint of NI vs. 2mg Eylea isn't commercially exciting if durability is only q16w.
Eylea HD is now approved for q8w to q20w after 3 loading doses. DAYBREAK adds another loading dose (4), which might be their trick to save the durability problem...

@Kevvy_Kaye If it has any value, it's in indications that don't already have a lot of competition...but my guess is that the target is just not as compelling as it seemed to be initially. Maybe a CAR T version will be better, but there are more challenges with that compared to an antibody
