Open source digital health just took a massive leap forward. Today we announced the intent to launch the Open Health Stack Software Foundation to build AI-enabled, interoperable healthcare applications worldwide.

With support from @Google, @WHO, and a global coalition of 20+ organizations, the Foundation will deliver standards-based tools to close health equity gaps in resource-constrained communities. The age of AI requires a new solution to cybersecurity challenges. Today, the Linux Foundation and industry leaders launched Akrites, a coordinated effort to defend critical open source software against AI-enabled cyber threats.

Frontier AI can find software vulnerabilities in minutes. Akrites introduces a shared SIRT and a standardized, confidential disclosure process to remediate vulnerabilities upstream before they are exploited.
