A recent report from the AAC&U and Elon University paints a complex picture:

📌 95% of higher ed leaders worry about AI's impact on academic integrity.
📌 92% fear it could undermine deep learning.
📌 80% believe AI will widen the digital divide.

Yet, despite these concerns, 91% say AI will enhance and customize learning—and 75% believe it will improve students’ research skills.

So, here’s the real question: If AI is already shaping how students learn, why are institutions still playing catch-up? According to the article, "More than a third of these higher education leaders perceive their institutions to be below average or far behind others in using GenAI tools.”
