Today my attorneys with the Public Interest Legal Foundation filed a lawsuit on my behalf against Governor JB Pritzker, the SBOE Ex. Dir., and the SBOE for violating the United States Constitution by explicitly elevating race as a primary purpose in drawing legislative districts.
Illinois' Voting Rights Act specifically mandates the drawing of districts with racial intent. This is blatantly unconstitutional which SCOTUS has made clear in their recent decision in Louisiana v. Callais.

The Freedom Caucus gets it. This is the most terrifying bill I’ve seen in my 20 year professional career.
I live in the state with the highest tax burden, highest corruption, and lowest bond rating in the country for 13 consecutive years. I’ve seen a lot of bad stuff.
If this bill passes the Senate and Gov. Pritzker signs it, as is, you need to pray your community never sees a megaproject nearby.
Every single dollar of property tax relief for billionaires can be dropped on the heads of other taxpayers. This means you.
The bill sponsor admitted this 3 times today.
A single $5B Megaproject could kick off $330M+ in property tax burdens on other taxpayers.
Why are we bailing out billionaires to screw everyone else? This isn’t a game @GovPritzker. You need to put an end to this.
Last Night in Chicago.................
Meanwhile... Mayor (dumb dumb) Johnson melts down over a plan to stop teen takeovers: "They could be my sons"..................
DID Mayor Johnson just compare the way these thugs are acting with the way his sons act? Was one of these thugs his son?
Roads and bridges, roads and bridges, where does all that money go? Obviously not where it should!
In 2024 Pritzker’s 6 yr infrastructure plan pledged $29.65 BILLION dollars dedicated to 🥁roads and bridges.
Pritzker’s 2025 budget for FY2026 — $50.6 BILLION infrastructure plan with $32.5 Billion for roads and bridges…
📢 Legislative Update: Jeanne Ives stated in her weekly Sunday Newsletter, HB 1429 DID NOT PASS out of the House and was re-referred to the House Rules Committee, which usually means that the bill is dead.
Not Surprising - the convictions of two ComEd Four defendants are reversed and they are ordered released from prison. Yes, I think they crossed the line and did favors for Madigan to get legislation passed. But, like I said before the back scratching didn't need to be said, it was understood. We need stronger ethics rules, but really we just need politicians who do the right thing. I'm hoping Madigan's conviction sticks - he created the atmosphere where honest conversations about policy aren't made and unethical people bought his favor. It still goes on with the unions buying votes with their hefty donations.

Laurie Blackburn Higgins writes: Jennifer Siebel Newsom, Pretty Boy Newsom’s wife, has a goal that she’s been pursuing for years: “deconstructing gender.” The Newsoms have too much power already. Let’s keep them far away from the presidency.

Mayor Brandon Johnson and CPD are touting a 75% murder clearance rate.
But CPD records show it is “clearing” more than half of murder cases without filing charges against anyone.

“Tyrannical threats and propaganda in the service of lies always have a shelf life. When people committed to truth find their spines, tyranny–including “trans” tyranny–ends.” - @LaurieBHiggins
