Working to break the cycle of young adult homelessness through purposeful employment, financial empowerment, and transformative policy changes #endhomelessness
Happy Pride Month from Breaktime! ๐ณ๏ธโ๐
Pride Month is a celebration, but itโs also a call to action. Together, we can create a future where no young person has to choose between being their authentic self and having a safe place to sleep.
Road of Rainbows is proud to announce that we're once again partnering with @breaktime_ma!
Breaktimeโs mission is to break the cycle of homelessness by equipping young adults with the job and financial security they need to establish housing security.
๐ณ๏ธโ๐ The @BostonPrideforthePeople Parade is around the corner!
Join Breaktime staff, Associates, and community members on June 6th as we march in celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community and advocate for equity and inclusion.

Spend a day with us at Breaktimeโs Resource Hub! ๐
Every day, our team and incredible volunteers are working hard to ensure housing insecure young people have access to essential resources.
For our latest quarterly staff social, we broke a sweat during a Pilates class led by our very own teammate, Alexzandra Baldeo!
Taking the time to encourage movement and share a few laughs outside of our daily tasks keeps us connected and energized for the work we do. ๐
Have you wondered what itโs like to work at the @MAAHMuseum?
Currently, two Breaktime Associates are gaining invaluable professional experience at the museum. We are proud to partner with institutions that believe in providing a supportive work environment for young adults. ๐
Congrats to our most recent cohort of Associates for completing Launchpad! โจ
For the past three weeks, these incredible Associates have been mastering critical skills like punctuality, engagement, and communication. Now, they are officially stepping into the workforce!
Huge shoutout to our recurring volunteer groups, including the incredible students and staff from @BHCCBoston. With their help, we can scale our impact and ensure we are getting essential resources to young people faster than ever.

Mental health is a housing issue. At Breaktime, we see how the stressors of instability and systemic barriers take a toll on the mental well-being of young adults.
This #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth, we are helping people have more good days by meeting them where they are.
Huge shoutout to our amazing partners at @CircleofHopeBOS! Thanks to them, our Resource Hub is constantly stocked with essential items for young people. ๐
By delivering clothing and hygiene essentials, they ensure that young adults have what they need to move with confidence.
๐๏ธ We are incredibly honored to be featured in the @BostonGlobeโs latest Bold Types episode!
A huge thank you to Janelle Nanos for showcasing how Breaktime has evolved to meet the urgent needs of housing-insecure young adults.

Before becoming a Breaktime Associate, Aaniyah came to Breaktimeโs Resource Hub nearly every day.
๐ข Young adults ages 18 - 24 are welcome to stop by the Resource Hub at 63 Franklin Street to stock on basic necessities.
Without the tools to navigate independence, many young people aging out of foster care find themselves trapped in a cycle of housing insecurity.
To create meaningful change, interventions must address the systemic gaps that lead young adults to temporary living situations.
๐ฃ Calling all young professionals!
