I’ve come around to it, as much as I think Jake Sanderson would make a fantastic captain…
Thomas Chabot has been through hell and back for years here and is still proud to be an Ottawa Senator. I don’t think there’s anyone else more deserving to lead our franchise than that guy.
He should’ve been named the captain then, and he should be named the captain now.
Thomas Chabot has always been a true Ottawa Senator. And we love him for it.
You can’t teach loyalty and leadership — two things Chabby has an abundance of. It’s only right for him to don the ‘C’.
If I had a say on who the #Sens should make captain next? Thomas Chabot is my pick.
He's the longest-tenured player on the team. He can handle answering for the team in good and bad times.
Plus, more time for Stützle and Sanderson to thrive without that added responsibility.
all I’m saying is Thomas Chabot has been with this team through hell and back and has more than once carried the whole team on his shoulders and therefore he is the only correct choice to be the next captain
Chabby should be captain, i love Timmy down, but the choice is obvious. It should be the Canadian guy who’s been loyal to the org for over a decade and was the other option for captaincy when it was given to Brady
It’s actually baffling to me the amount of people who don’t understand that it’s arguably harder for women to make it to the professional stage in hockey than men simply because most of their opportunities to play stop after highschool. Therefore, the ones that make it are elite.
britta curl advocating for "more fair" gameplay and "safer" locker rooms for women by trying to push trans people out of sports while being a reckless dangerous player is really silly of her
I'm giving Chabot a pass on any slander. The man's playing with a bionic arm, when we didn't even expect him to be available for round one. He battled. Felt for him not being able to truly contribute on the PP, just nothing on his shot.
