What does "white people" even mean? I have a white beard...I'm not even 50. I was born "white" but found out later through the study of my DNA that I am almost 26% pacific asian, so part "yellow?". I'm 3% Moorish...which means I'm part "black". I was raised by a 1/4 Chippawa Indian, whose Dad was 1/2 Irish, and 1/2 Native American. My Grandmother was Asian. My Grandfather, Irish, from IRELAND. Am I white? again....WTF does "white" mean? It means absolutely NOTHING to me. And for the record, I didn't get into Michigan because of the fact that I was "white". I didn't get unemployment when I was medically seperated from the Military, but others did, I was told in the Saginaw, MI unemployment office that I was the wrong "color" to be in that office. Again....WTF does "white" mean? It means, if you are perceived as a "white", "straight", "Christian", "male", you are the most privileged person on Earth....that's weird because the ONLY thing I've gained from being perceived as any one of those things is...HATE. Just pure hate. For no reason. Other than the assumption I had it easy. I was poor. I served for over 18 years. 5 years of direct combat. NO ONE EVER GAVE ME SO MUCH AS A NICKEL for what I've done. So don't lecture me about privilege. Or whatever the F "white" means.
