#LTC was the first crypto I owned in the spring of 2017 at a price of around $40. Why I am paying attention to it again, other than what the charts are telling me:

Litecoin is closer to Bitcoin than most people admit. No company control, long history, simple rules. It often leads rotation because it is smaller and moves before the rest of the alt market wakes up.

It also added optional privacy through MimbleWimble. You choose when to use it. That opt in design is familiar to Zcash holders, even though #ZEC is still the gold standard for real privacy.

After watching governance issues and centralization risks play out elsewhere, that simplicity matters. Litecoin feels boring until it suddenly is not.

Litecoin is meaningfully faster and cheaper than #BTC to use in practice. Blocks confirm quicker and fees stay low in normal conditions. That makes it feel more like a usable payment rail while still keeping Bitcoin like simplicity and decentralization.

That combo is part of why it attracts early rotation when risk appetite returns.
