BREEDIME project is coordinated by @karolinskainst under @EDCTP3 Global Health Funding, the workshop reinforced collaboration among African regulators to accelerate vaccine trial evaluations while upholding scientific rigor and public health standards.
From October 6–10, 2025, @RwandaFDA hosted a regional workshop on the joint review of vaccine clinical trial applications. The five-day training aimed to strengthen regulatory capacity for efficient, high-quality reviews, especially during public health emergencies.
Also, from @nimrtanzania Dr. Nyanda Ntinginya highlighted BREEDIME's goals, its 8 work packages, and its extensive international collaborations to boost clinical trial and ethics capacity. Big thanks to @EDCTP3 for funding and all key stakeholders for participating.
From May 20-22 Dr. Loishooki Laizer from the Ministry of Health launched a crucial BREEDIME writing workshop in Morogoro. Focused on health data management during public health emergencies. He stressed the importance of robust regulatory and ethical frameworks.
Today marks the end of the BREEDIME project’s short training course on Vaccine Clinical Trial Application Assessment concluded. All participants successfully completed the course and were awarded certificates.
