Winter training JUST about booked for 25 youth grassroots football teams! A high demand and limited availability and don't the private owned 2g pitch hires know about it! 💸

We pay nearly double the price Shrewsbury 4g pitch hire costs.

Isaac was nominated by his school to trial for @SSCFA2, over 70+ kids. He made it to phase 2 trials and played a match tonight with some talented ballers. He didn't stop running and gave 100%, he scored but more importantly he came of smiling.
Whatever happens I'm always proud 💙

Nearly 2 years now and I'm still waiting for an answer from @ShropCouncil, 😒
I've been trying to get extra land to gain additional grass football pitches and support the 27 youth teams we have! Thats 500+ local kids around the #Oswestry areas.

Shrewsbury is fully booked a year in advance, 80% grassroots football.

Perfect weather today but unfortunately, the rain yesterday & last night has resulted in waterlogged pitches again! All junior games off at the club 🙃 #Grassroots in #oswestry need a community 4g pitch. @ShropCouncil any chance you invest in something that supports our locals 😝

There are 4no. Private owned 2g facilities not suitable for football! 1/3 of a pitch costs more than a full size at Llanfyllin 🫣 @advertizer

@liambraisdell @ShropCouncil @ShropshireFA It's very poor! Affordable community facilities would benefit many teams and schools! And like shrewsbury stadium 4g works financially for all parties, its fully booked a year in advance!

However, recent investment of the chicane and flower beds in town centre is worth the 💰🫣

Isaac has just started back from a broken collar bone injury! The second time now 🫠 Just had a nice message from his MJPL coach saying he was impressed with him tonight and invited him to play Saturday. I am hard on you at times buddy, but I am always proud!

Well, the hammy went again after 10mins 👴 gutted! Was really looking forward to the game today aswell 🙃 but I supported IB who ran the line perfectly. Well done son! & the young lads at @MordaUnitedFC who stepped up ⚽️

After 10 years of not playing competitive football, I dusted off the boots and gave it another go! 😅
My main aim preseaon was to get fitter and to support the young lads moving from youth football to the adult game.
