The crazy thing is is that he’s right to be suspicious. Pokemon scalpers would totally put a BS out of order sign (illegally, mind you) if they thought it would let them have all the product.
@daddypupjs@Mericamemed But if he refuses the refund the items are still his (since he legally paid for them and has a receipt to prove it), so legally you have to let him leave with the items. Otherwise you’re the one stealing.
@DanielHoll52755@c0ngatime@CultureCrave Yeah but I’m pretty sure that’s on the company for not programming the bot to not say things like “kill yourself lmao” and encouraging such thoughts.
@sometallmf@furlan_mai66776@eurogamer Please read my response again. I acknowledged Kojima’s stance as Ai as a TOOL. And I’m saying other, far less well meaning, penny pinchers are putting him on a pedestal so they can begin replacing people with inferior art. He’s a cog in a bigger machine.
@sometallmf@furlan_mai66776@eurogamer Because that’s not the industry’s and higher ups’ stance. They’re using the excuse of ‘it’s just a tool’ along with well meaning big names like Kojima so they can successfully replace artists with lower quality, dogshit, Ai that they think is less expensive (it isn’t).

The best way to combat this is to flood social media with obviously Ai posts of Stan Lee saying slurs and terrible shit and then saying marvel and Disney fully supports it.
An AI company ElevenLabs has struck a deal for voice and likeness of Stan Lee, so they can recreate it with AI.
It will be added to a marketplace where various celebrity voices and likenesses that be generated with AI that companies can license for commercial use.
